Yup… that’s right. I couldn’t believe it myself when I heard this song for the first time… pretty addictive.
At least we have something up to international standards.

I got my first set of Sennheiser Earphones about 18 months ago, and I was totally blown away by the quality of the sound. One word, IMPRESSIVE. I got this PMX 70 mainly to be used for jogging purposes.
After so much of torturous use, my earphones finally gave up and the cable has torn. Sennheiser Singapore agreed to have a look at my old earphones before deciding whether I am entitled for a warranty claim. By the way, the earphones come with a 2-year warranty.
Not wanting to wait for the claim, I decided to go for a new set, and I got the PMX 80 instead.
Yet, another good set of earphones. If you like music, Sennheiser audio system comes highly recommended. I know it’s not as famous as other brands eg. Bose, Sennheiser provides some nice quality earphones for everyone.
By the way, this set of earphones costs RM 250 ~ RM 300 in Malaysia. And I got it at a lower price from E-Bay. Beware of counterfeits though.
Although it’s a bit late, but the Chinese Language society and the other 3 societies did this Mooncake Festival grandly. Real complements to them for making this event so successful… Even the case of heavy raining in the evening did not deter students from coming into campus to enjoy the festival.
The place was basically packed with people… I guess the students are extremely bored at home… so they opt to come over to this event…
There were some stall selling food and the earnings will proceed to charity.
Some games for students to participate in…
This friend, together with his gang, was trying to cheat his way through… Instead of one person blowing the candle, the other 3 friends were helping him to blow the candle.
Later about 8.15 pm, the performances started…
Love this shot very much… the lines on the floor was stunning…
Mongolian Dance… Well done!!!
Another cool performance of dance…
The Chinese Fan Dance…
Another Hip Hop…
Then this one was interesting… Jai Ho… The dance…
Another interesting slow shutter shot…
This one with multiple lighting is very cool… slow shutter, and the photographer on the opposite fired his flash… stunning…
Korean Dance… hmm…
The MCs for the evening…
The group photo of crew members and organizing committee members…
Here are a few things I discovered along the way…
i) UTAR students really rich la… I did a quick count and there were more than 10 people with DSLR…
ii) It’s been a while since I shoot events like this… kinda fun to do it again… definitely love the energy. How I hope that I can have an AF 50 mm…
iii) Over-exposed photos can be converted to Black and White… and looked even better!!!
iv) Very hard to shoot dances with lots of moves… the AF points may be out… ended up missing some potential shots…
v) Comparing this shoot and the shoot when I first got the camera, this is a 90% reduction in the number of photos shot!!! Which means that the shots are much better… and thought are put in before composing…
Anyways, UTAR HAS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE USE OF POLYSTYRENE IN THE UNIVERSITY!!!!
The Heat is on! How can we sleep when our beds are burning? Good question…
Watch this…
It’s a project… for more info… visit http://www.timeforclimatejustice.org/
If you love the song… these artiste even made it available for everyone to download for free…
I think today I suffered quite a heavy impact…
Yesterday night was busy… just busy… answering calls, getting tasks done for the camp… studying at the same time…
Then I made a decision – wake up at 6 am to study… and I went to bed.
A few hours later, something woke me up and I ‘thought’ it was 6 am already… Went to the washroom, washed my face, sat down on the chair… looked at the clock… only to find out it was 3.03 am…
And I went back to bed… and started dreaming…
What I remembered was that, I was late for the EXAM!!! cause I woke up late!!! and I was 30 minutes late, but thank god the invigilator allowed me to take the exam… even worse, I don’t know what actually went wrong, to discovered that someone wearing green actually came into the exam hall 30 minutes before the exam ends!!!
Haha… crazy dream…
Thank god I managed to wake up at 6.10 am… and I didn’t wake up late… =D
Owh ya… I normally don’t want to comment about other people, but after I have watched the MTV Video Music Awards… and here’s my comment on Kanye West:
“You SUCK!!! Watch your ATTITUDE you JERK!!!”
Nothing is so scientific about the commercials, but… what a creative idea to run commercials like that… well done BioRad…
But still, I must say this… BioRad… your reagents and equipments are very expensive LOL! But, what you pay is what you get! YEA!
Thanks to CheeShin for his videos on Facebook… haha
My sis recommended this movie to me… named “August Rush”…

After a mistaken order…
after the hassle of correcting the order…
after failing to correct the order…
after the long wait…
and after the anxious wait…
My Linkin Park Underground 8.0 packaged arrived…!!!

Still, the economy impact should not be the reason BandMerch shrink the fan pack mar… haiz…
Never the less… there are other memberships you can join… with more stuffs inside… but of course you’ll have to pay for it la… for more info, visit LinkinPark Underground…
After the whole day of learning session, I personally find that this leadership workshop is very new to me… in a good way, as I learned a lot during the workshop. It’s extremely different from what I’ve learned from other leadership camps…
Stop here with the chatter, and let me take you through the journey of learning…
First off, I had to leave home by 6 am in the morning, met some new friends at 7.30 am, had breakfast at 8.30 am.
Started off with some sharing session by Seelan, and then… the big star continues the session – the managing director and CEO of Malaysia Airlines : Dato Seri Idris Jala.
A little boy from Bario, made his way up to the management level, changing people’s perspective and how we too can make it…
“Dream of BIG, SCARY dreams!” – Dato Seri Idris Jala
Then, very unexpected, he said that he wanted to play the guitar for us, UNPLUGGED!
Here’s a video recording on his performance…
After that, we went through the program, learning step by step, on how to problem solve and work your way through the personal leadership objectives (PLO).
We also had fun learning how to influence others, influence people to do something, which I find it very useful. With speed dating, we had great fun working on the influencing techniques…
Later, before we leave UEM Leadership Centre for dinner, we had a bit of photo session…
Joanne here helping team B to shoot their group photo.
Members of Team A…
My team… Team C, with Michelle as our guide through the programme.
*From right, Jing Wen, Joanne, Michelle, Elaine and I.
Michelle Yong… my buddy… was busy distributing her name card… haha!
New friendships are made…
Ken Vin here is going to pursue his studies to become a Medical doctor.
Some candid moments… by the way, this is Team E
The three of us… UTARians…
Ka Wei, Rasminah and Michelle Tang.
The messed up group photo… haha
And the good one… hehe
I finally remembered what happened to the remote… I forgot the switch the camera back to non-live-view mode… it turns out, the camera took a longer time to focus on us… that’s why there is a delay! Sorry about that guys…
This one looked more like we’re doing a modeling for McKinsey… haha
Yep… the most complete group photo for my team. With Michael in the photo.
After the crazy photo shoots, we head over to Le Meridien for our dinner…
As the orchid looked beautiful, I took a shot of macro, and Joanne came into the picture… wahahahaha…
I hope you like the photo….
Ka Wei… busy conducting business while others were taking some photos… haha
Michael having some chit-chat with Ken Vin.
A few more photos before we enter the dining room…
The dinner was good, I get to know my mentor better… and I had a bit of light chat.
Finally, I left the hotel around 9.35 pm.
So, there goes… my journey… 6 am to 10.45 pm… Great, meaningful day!
Owh ya, one more thing… I’d like to give some ‘Constructive positive comments’ to McKinsey and Co… Can you guys be more eco-friendly? like, reduce the amount of wastage, especially on papers? We used a lot of paper yesterday and I don’t feel right for us to waste paper just for the sake of learning to become leaders…
Hopefully, you guys can reduce the amount of post-it notes and mahjong papers used, reuse some of the single sided papers, and recycle the remaining paper wastes. Recycle those water bottles as well!
Till then… see everyone soon, this coming July!
YES! It is OUT!… Watch the new Music Video of ‘New Divide’, which would be the official song for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.
Watch it NOW!!!
