Tzu Ching Camp 2009 / 2010

This camp must be one of the best camps I’ve ever attended. Over 700 Tzu Chings (慈青) from all over the globe come to Hua Lian, Taiwan.

First off was the global Tzu Ching Camp, followed by the Overseas Tzu Ching Camp and lastly, the hospital volunteer.

The trip started on 24th December 2009 and ended on 11th January 2010.

Enough said, let’s go to the photos.

Unexpected luck to be able sit near to a window, to watch sunset from the airplane.

Then came the day where we have to walk all the way from Hua-Lian JingSi Hall to Jing She. Distance about 8 to 12 km.

Another fate to meet with Mr. Kun-Shan Xie.

Although tiring, and having to sleep by 9.30 pm and wake up at 3.50 am everyday, it was a great experience and I definitely had fun during this camp. Meeting everyone from all over the globe was another great feat done in such a short time.

Hi! Nice photos. :) I love photographing, it's been my hobby for a few years
I read your notice about Songs from Underground and I've got a little request to you.
I bought that CD, but unfortunately, I've got a little problem with the LPU code.
The paper, which was in the box: http://i49.tinypic.com/2d6ul9s.jpg
I couldn't find a code. I don't know what's going on, maybe it's a printing mistake?
I know, that you coloured the code place on computer, but as you see, the place on my paper is blank in real.
If you could tell me something about my problem, if u could help me, please write me back gosiaguzik@wp.pl

> It was a great experience. As this was a group tour, I didn't go around Taiwan for sightseeing. The rollerskating photo was quite a good one. I didn't expect that it would come out better than I expected. Perfect crop and balance. Sometimes you need a bit of luck with you to get the image.

> Yea, I got the album Songs From Underground, but it was not with me at this moment. May I suggest that you meet your CD retail or call up your local Warner Music and see what they can do for you. They would be able to provide a replacement. As the printing was done locally, I strongly believe that it is their printing error, and you have the rights to claim a new replacement from them. All the best to you!

Hi Mike!

I'm an editor of Tzu Chi USA Journal. Found your blog through a fellow Tzu Ching who probably googled to find 2009 Winter Camp photos which led to your site.

I have a request to use your beautiful photos from 2009 Tzu Ching camp to go with an article I have in my hand.

As time is pressing, I do need your reply as soon as possible.
