Cycle all the way to Lata Kinjang Waterfall

The first expression WY gave me when I told him that I wanted to cycle to Lata Kinjang was

"you SIAO ah?!"

Still, I managed to cycle there… arriving 1 hour 30 minutes later…

We departed at about 7am in the morning. The journey of 28.5 kilometres was quite an enjoyable one… for the morning cycle… the sun was BLAZING HOT when the 3 of us cycled back from the waterfall…

The destination is Chenderiang. A small town 2 km away from the waterfall. We took this photo at Temoh town…

When you see this road sign, this means you are about 11 km away from the destination…

Featuring, the MAJESTIC LATA KINJANG WATERFALL…

The water was icy cold… and definitely fun to soak in… but not for too long… haha

Lots and lots of water coming down… we’re quite lucky as we went there 2 days after heavy rain…

A note of caution here…

Please DO NOT GO if it rained heavily the day before your departure… Soaking in the water may bring danger to you as there would be too much water and strong torrents may flush you off…

The three of us cycled there… while Jeffery’s housemate decided to ride his motorbike there instead. Edward is second from the left.

By the way, if you’ve heard of this phrase, “Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints”… please practice it… kindly do not leave any rubbish behind…

This applies to all the nature parks and trails… Thank you.

Anyway, here are some of the details of our journey.

Total Duration: 2 hr 58 mins

Average Speed: about 18.5km/h

Total Distance: 57 km (to and fro)

Departure time: 7.07 am

P/S: 3 UTAR students were feared drown at the Batu Berangkai Waterfall around 5.30 pm. The few of us are fine here. Please do not worry. It’s not the 3 of us… Thanks for the concern.
