Yesterday, the Photography Society organized a trip to Bon Odori… better known for “Japanese Ghost Festival”…. Lots of dances, food, and more ‘never-seen-before’ food… haha
So here we go! First off, A group photo…
Someone had a new 70-200 f/4 lens to toy with…
I think they’re ‘pure’ japanese girls… cause I’ve seen a lot of non-Japanese wearing these dresses…
Don’t believe me… see… my UTAR friends…
Haha… Anyway, here’s a drink of orange + Vodka…
Father and girl lining up to buy some drinks…
She was playing with her Helium filled balloon…
Outdoor Sushi Bar, brought to you by Sushi King…
This boy was very shy… but later on, he seemed to be throwing a tantrum…
See… He was with all the sour face… but still kinda cute though… haha
The staffs of Suzuki Latex filling balloons with Helium…
Start of drum performance…
Little girl finishing her ramen.
This baby is so adorable… :)
Mom and daughter sharing some photos together…
Bouncing and playing with the balloon…
Portrait…
Then we had some dances
At one part, we’re required to clap our hands with the fan, but instead, some people hit their friends with the fans… haha
Waiting for group photo being taken…
Dancing below the stage…
Almost the end, and this boy was chasing up and down the park…
Greg and friends.
The festival was great, but the air was pretty bad… Very poor air ventilation and dusty. The grasses on the field dried up, and when so many people stepping on it, the dust flew all over the place.
I had to clean my lens during the shoot… haha… and now my whole camera is dusty.
Anyway, it was of great fun, but I don’t think I would go for the second time… Most probably my first and my last… might still change my mind though… haha
