Neurobiology Assignment Presentation

This is the first time I’m presenting the assignment, wearing non-formal wear, and presenting our research via posters… A0 size!!!

Preparing for the presentation…

They’re discussing on how to present later…

This team did some last minute modifications to their poster.

By the way, they won the first prize for this poster presentation!

Starting the actual presentation… This is one of my group mates presenting her part on Parkinson’s Disease.

She’s presenting her part on Prader-Willi syndrome. This syndrome basically allows people to eat and eat and eat… because the receptors for telling your brain that your stomach is ‘full’ has gone haywire! Erm… congenital disease, okay…. Not sporadic.

Initially, everyone refused to present posters because of the cost of printing… I think almost everyone was quite frustrated with the high printing cost… about RM 60 to 90 each…

Still, by the end of the day, everyone enjoyed themselves during this presentation. Surely, something did come out nicely after the troublesome work, I guess…

Again, WELL DONE TO EVERYONE, as well as my team members. We’ve done our very best!

P/S: If you miss the poster presentation today, you can always drop by the SA lobby tomorrow. The posters should be up for 3 days (until Friday).
